Rob served on the Board of Vancouver's oldest civic party, has volunteered on his local Advisory Planning Commission, and has consulted on very early stage planning for potential rezoning projects in BC.
Rob has consulted on a number of projects with some of BC's biggest condo developers, including Westbank, Mosiac, Century Group, Macdonald Development Corp, & Polygon. Some of that work is highlighted below
Rob developed the initial operating budget during the pre-construction phase for 3 Civic Plaza, Century Group's marquee mixed-use development in Surrey, BC's, city centre.
An air space parcel development with stratafied ownership for a portion of the property, 3CP includes an office tower, luxury hotel, restaurant, & luxury residences.
Rob developed the initial operating budget for Westbank's multi-billion dollar Oakridge re-development project, prior to completion of rezoning. The budget included operating cost modelling for 8 residential towers comprising more than 2,600 homes, office space for 3,000 workers, a community park and related amenities, and civic services all built on top of a large retail shopping centre.
Rob developed the initial operating budget for Macdonald Development Corp's Lakestone, near Kelowna, BC. Lakestone is a 550 acre site, with both multi-family (strata) and single-family homes (bare land strata), along with associated amenities such as a large clubhouse, pool, 25 km of trails, lakeshore beach, & communal marina.
